The afternoon land-based safari heads deeper into the Park to spot the elusive big cats that call Chobe their home.

Shearwater Bungee Jumping at Victoria Falls

Bungee jumping at Victoria Falls provides the original and ultimate thrill! The location is unbeatable, in front of the largest curtain of falling water in the world, at a World Heritage Site, set against the backdrop of one of the Seven Natural Wonders in the World and above the raging torrents and misty gorges of the mighty Zambezi River. Four seconds of free fall and 111 metres of pure adrenalin. Victoria Falls Bungee is consistently voted as one of the top five adrenalin experiences on the planet. For Bungee Jump veterans, speak to your Jump Master and make it even wilder by doing an ankle-tied, back flip or a star elevator jump.

Shearwater Helicopter Flight of Angels

The Flight of Angels is an amazing journey over the 1,700m vast curtain of water known locally as the “Mosi-oa-Tunya” which translate to "the smoke that thunders", along the Zambezi River as well as the Zambezi National Park.  Passengers are treated to an unforgettable helicopter journey comprising of 4 circuits, offering unrivalled spectacular views, photographic, and filming opportunities and putting the full breadth and height of The Falls into glorious perspective within the surrounding environment.

Shearwater White Water Rafting

When a river 1,700m wide plunges 120m over the Victoria Falls and is trapped in a basalt gorge no more than 40m wide the result is….turbulent! For the next 70km the warm waters of the Zambezi River offers some of the finest Grade 5 high volume rapids on the planet as it surges through the scenic splendour of the Batoka Gorge. In 1985, Shearwater was the first company to run commercial White-water Rafting trips on the Zambezi River in  Zimbabwe. Since those early intrepid paddle strokes Shearwater has become synonymous internationally with some of the biggest and best white water action in the world. Prepare to get wet and wild on the mighty Zambezi in one adrenalin-filled day of white-water action

Shearwater Bridge Swing

Guests step off the Victoria Falls Bridge into the Batoka Gorge over the mighty Zambezi River in an upright position for an 80 metre free fall, then become a human pendulum as they swing in a huge arc with the cascading waterfall rumbling by their side. If guests do not want to step into the void alone, they are able to take a partner with them and scream together as the rush of adrenalin surges through their bodies. The Swing provides a bonus chance to absorb the beautiful scenery of the Batoka Gorge while they slowly get winched back to the platform.

Shearwater Rhino Encounter Game Drive Plus Night Drive & Bush Dinner

This sunset into night game drive adds a unique dimension to the safari allowing guests an opportunity to see scores of game march towards the Nakavango Dam to have their fill just before the sun comes down. After dark, visitors can catch a glimpse of the shyer animals and see the nocturnal species of Africa come out to feed. The game drive returns to the reception area where a fulfilling bush dinner under the stars will complete the evening before returning to town at approximately 9pm. Transport can be arranged back to town immediately after the night drive for those that have alternative dinner arrangements.
